  1. Consistent, timely communication with all parties involved
  2. Informed, knowledgeable staff who assess and meet the needs of our patients
  3. Concern for maintaining employee productivity
  4. Efficient delivery of health services with care and compassion
  5. Maintenance of the highest quality standards through continuous improvement

Services

Injury Treatment:

Medical management of injuries is what sets our center apart from others. This includes timely phone calls from the occupational health physician to discuss the employee's work status, followed by a written narrative about the injury and subsequent contact with the physician if necessary.

Return to Work Exams:

The physicians of McBride strive to restore injured workers to their pre-injury status as quickly as is medically feasible. They understand that it is in the patient's best interest to have a speedy recovery and return to work. The return to work form is completed, with instructions regarding restrictions if indicated. It is left up to the employer to determine their capability of accommodating those restrictions.

Prompt Access to In-house Orthopedic Care

The majority of occupational health injuries are breaks and strains. By using McBride Occupational Health Center, you have prompt access to McBride Orthopedic Hospital Physicians if the injury warrants.

24 Hour Coverage

McBride Orthopedic Hospital ER, located at 9600 Broadway Extension, has minimal wait time because of the specialized focus of care and treatment for injuries of the bones, joints, spine and muscles. The emergency room staff serves as an extension of the Occupational Health Centers and is trained to care for occupational injuries. In 2010, McBride Orthopedic Hospital was named Oklahoma's Best for Overall Orthopedic Services by HealthGrades.

Prompt Reporting and Communication

Companies, external case managers and insurance companies are provided continuous, prompt information about their employee through the services of the McBride OccMed staff and/or the Case Manager.
